I am so excited to show off my wedding photos... I have been in the hair industry for 15 years now and I decided to specialize in bridal hair / makeup full-time 6 years ago. As the years moved on I certainly spotted out some wedding vendors that I had a small crush on. Therefore, when I got engaged in July 2012 I quickly booked my "team" of wedding professionals . All of my vendors pulled the night together wonderfully and I can honestly say that it was the best night of our lives. Smiles from ear to ear may have given that away!
Below is my list of vendors that I am so thankful for ....
Hair and Makeup - La Sorella Bridal ( of course!!! ) Kristen did my hair and Dawn did my makeup. My airbrush makeup was flawless. My hair is normally above my shoulders and I wear it straight every day. Kristen added some clip on extensions for fullness and length which was very much needed for a more formal look. I was VERY happy with how my hair and makeup came out that day and I am so thankful to have such artistic girls part of my team.
Dress, Veil & Jewelry: I do, I do in Morristown, NJ- I only had to visit one store. I only had to try on about 5 dresses because the staff at I do, I do knew exactly what would look best on me. I had a short engagement. The dress came in with plenty of time for three fittings. I have not one complaint about how anything went. Its was a pleasure working with the staff at I do, I do. I highly recommend this bridal store to everyone. It's small, it's intimate and you will get the attention you not only need, but certainly deserve.
Photography: Kate Connolly - Booking Kate was a no brainer. I did not want ordinary wedding photos. Instead I was looking for the most creative form of photography I could find. Having worked with Kate several times in the past for both wedding and editorial experiences I knew she was the one who could nail what I was looking for.. Reception Hall -Valley Regency, Clifton NJ - I dealt with Anthony from the beginning. I can honestly say that the whole staff was Overly pleasant during our whole experience. This place is exquisite! The design on both the inside and outside are awesome for photos. As you can see above we had some awesome shots in one of their hallways which is filled with large lounge sofas. The fabric walls brought a very sexy and seductive feel to my photos. I love the decor. Extremely classy!! The food was better than fantastic. The cocktail hour wrapped around the room. The guests were stunned to find out that all that food was only the first part of the wedding. The staff serving the food during the cocktail hour worked well servicing the guests. There were so many stations with 70 different food options that there were no lines or waiting time. I could go on forever about this place because they made me so happy and really very proud to have been able to have my wedding at their establishment. Jake and I are are big fans!!!
Flowers: Regency Design - Janet and Jennifer blew me away! My bouquet was amazing. Deep red roses with ribbon that almost reached the floor was just breathtaking and so out of the ordinary. Janet really blew my mind when I walked into the ballroom. I went with all white flowers, candlelight and crystals. As Janet put it..... "A lot of Bling!" Basically the only way to describe this room decorated was like walking into a another world. It was enchanting! The walls and chandelier were letting off a wintery blue toned light. The room was lit with candlelight. Six of my tables had centerpieces that included white flowers and tall branches. Hanging from the branches were crystal and more candles. It was out of this world. Her customer service was impeccable. I highly recommend her to everyone. She will go to any reception hall even though she is the house florist at Valley Regency.
Valley Regency Invitations - Jennie was very easy to work with. My invitations were white with a small white ribbon, silver lining and a rhinestone embellishment. Because she works close to Janet she really did well picking the invitation that matched my whole theme. I got many calls from family and friends after sending out the invites to tell me how beautiful and classy they were. I agreed.... I loved, loved, loved the invitation that I chose. Now one is framed beautifully on my wall.
Gemma Photo Booth - This photo booth was unlike any other that I have ever seen before. This booth also has up-lighting. This way you can match the color of your walls. The booth comes with many dress up props and from the album I got to go home with that night with all the print outs it seemed like my guests were having a ball. Actually, my guests not only took one photo of themselves, but Multiple. They had a blast and that is what I intended, so this was a good choice for favors.
